Main Components and Functional Structure of the
Hospitality Industry in Azerbaijan
Abstract
The hospitality industry in Azerbaijan is a strategic sector based on the harmony of national culture and international standards, constituting an important part of the tourism sector. This industry plays an important role in the country's economic development, promotion of cultural heritage and expansion of international relations. The main goal is to provide high-quality service to guests, as well as to introduce the rich culture and beauty of Azerbaijan's nature. Hotels, restaurants, tourism services and cultural and entertainment facilities occupy a special place among the main components of the hospitality industry. Hotels of various categories provide comfort to guests, while guest houses create a simpler but more friendly atmosphere in the national style. Restaurants offer a high-level culinary experience to both local and foreign tourists, reflecting the richness of Azerbaijani cuisine. Travel agencies, on the other hand, meet the needs of guests with services such as nature tourism, cultural excursions and adventure tours
