Possibilities of Pedagogical Support to Ensuring Effective Adaptation of Students to the

Socio-Cultural Environment of the University

 

Abstact

 

The article examines the possibilities of pedagogical support to ensure effective adaptation of students to the socio-cultural environment of the university. It is noted that pedagogical support is a system of pedagogical interaction between the teacher and the student, aimed at helping to overcome difficulties, as well as independent individual choice situations. Pedagogical support is an activity, an integral part of the pedagogical process, the teacher activates the resources necessary for the development of the student.

It is substantiated that the dissemination of experience in the implementation of pedagogical support, adaptation of students to the university environment by writing teaching aids, scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, etc. contributes to the rooting of this experience in educational practice. The pedagogical support of the process under consideration assumes the possibility of students' personal and professional self-determination, the acquisition of subjectivity in various life and educational situations, and the purposeful implementation of their own actions. It should be noted that the effective implementation of pedagogical support is possible only with the appropriate theoretical foundations.
