Traces of Onomastic Units in the Classical Literature of
Azerbaijan of the XIII-XIV Centuries
Abstract
In the article the development of some of the onomastic units in the classical literature of Azerbaijan of the XIII-XIV centuries were discussed and were brought to the study. In the onomastic system of the Azerbaijani classical literature, toponyms and their types were not once investigated, but in the poetic onomasticism these toponyms were used appropriately with particular delicacy. Onomastic studies show that in the system of onomastic units toponyms in number occupy second place after anthroponyms. The variety of toponyms is reflected in the article from the point of view of antiquity, as well as their prevalence in different territories.
