Günümüzdə ingilis dilində təyinin ifadə vasitələri

Təyin subyektin əlamətini ifadə edən cümlənin ikinci dərəcəli üzvü olub, aşağıdakı sualları cavablandırır: what? (hansı), what kind of? (necə), whose? (kimin), which (hansı), how much? how many? (neçə, nə qədər). İngilis dilində təyin, əlamətini bildirdiyi sözün qarşısında (prepozitiv təyin) və ondan sonra (postpozitiv təyin) işlənə bilir. Təyin edilən sözün qarşısında işlənən təyin prepozitiv, ondan sonra işlənən isə postpozitiv təyin adlanır. Qeyd etmək lazımdır ki, müasir ingilis dili üçün xarakterik olan təyin prepozitiv təyin hesab edilir. Müasir ingilis dilində təyin, sözün qarşısında və ya ondan sonra işlənməsindən asılı olmayaraq, təyin edilən sözdən asılıdır.

Means of Expression of the Attribute in Modern English

Abstract

It is known that an attribute is a secondary part of a sentence that defines a noun, modifying the sign of a person, object or phenomenon expressed by a noun. Any part of the sentence expressed by a noun can have one or more than one attributes. In English, there are two kinds of attributes, differing in their place relative to the word being defined: prepositive attributes, facing the modified noun, and post-positive attributes, standing after the modified noun. In this article we tried to systematize and summarize all the features and differences of the expression of attribute in the English language. We have tried to give the most complete picture of the attribute as a member of a sentence, and also to highlight this question in sufficient detail, since this is of no small importance for the English language in grammatical terms.
