Analysis of the Causes and Mechanisms of Leaks in Offshore Pipelines

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to deeply analyze the causes and mechanisms of leaks in offshore subsea pipelines, as well as to develop effective solutions and technologies to prevent these causes. Offshore pipelines play a critical role in the transportation of energy resources, but these infrastructures can be exposed to various external and internal factors, creating serious risks. The most important of these risks is pipeline leaks. Preventing leaks is of great importance from both an environmental and economic perspective. Therefore, it is important to deeply understand the causes of leaks and develop strategic approaches to prevent them.

Keywords: Causes of leaks, offshore pipeline, pipeline leak, corrosion, mechanism analysis.
