Assesment of Vibration and Dynamic Stability o Multi-Story Residential Buildings based on Dynamic Tests

Abstract. This article examines the issues of assessing the vibration characteristics and dynamic stability of multi-story residential buildings based on dynamic tests. The increase in the number of high-rise buildings in modern urban development makes the study of their behavior under seismic effects, wind loads, transport vibrations and other dynamic effects relevant. The main purpose of the study is to determine the natural vibration frequencies, vibration forms and damping coefficients of building structures by experimental methods, as well as to assess their dynamic stability based on the results obtained.

During the study, dynamic tests were conducted on building structures on site, vibration parameters were recorded using special measuring devices. The collected data were processed using spectral and modal analysis methods, and the dynamic behavior indicators of the structure were determined. The results showed that the experimentally obtained dynamic parameters provide more accurate information about the actual technical condition of the structure compared to the design parameters.
