Directions for Regulating the Environment that Supports the Development ofStudents' Technological Literacy, Information Culture and Intellectual Skills

 

Abstract

 

The research  shows that in the techno-democratic-information society the intellectual  and creative activity of every individual is a paramount requirement. For this reason, it is desirable that each member of society reaches a level of proficiency in intellectual skills, possessing both information culture and technological literacy.

The study presents the features of “Education 4.0”, which provides an effective environment for the development of students technological literacy and information culture. It also outlines logically grouped categories  of intellectual skills that should developed within this system.

The research  emphasizes that these tasks are designed  based on the principle of modeling the structure of various intellectual skills. As students complete these tasks, they acquire abilities such as determining the purpose of their work, systematizing educational material and  collecting materials independently.

The work also focuses on the didactic principles that should guide the selection and organization of  tasks, as well as the structuring of students' activities, with the aim of fostering and developing technological literacy and information culture.
