International Experience in Creating Industrial Districts
Abstract
This research presents significant examples in terms of economic diversification and the stimulation of regional development. The conducted studies primarily encompass achieving high productivity through the application of modern technologies, innovative management models, and public-private sector cooperation. In the planning of industrial zones, factors such as geographical location, infrastructure provision, and the efficient allocation of resources are considered crucial. International experience highlights the advanced approaches of countries such as China, Germany, and South Korea in this field. The implementation of these practices not only contributes to increasing industrial production but also promotes innovation and the creation of new job opportunities. Ensuring environmental sustainability and social responsibility is one of the essential conditions for the development of industrial zones. This article analyzes the applicability of these experiences in the context of Azerbaijan and provides recommendations that can contribute to regional development strategies. Consequently, the impact of approaches integrated with international experience on the country’s economic development is extensively discussed.
