Music as a Tool in English Language Teaching
Abstract
The theory behind music-based English instruction is that it can help students remember new vocabulary words and grammar structures more easily. Using musical instruments, new words, grammar and pronunciation can be taught and reinforced. Music can also be used to create a lively and engaging classroom environment. Using music in the English class has several advantages. The fact that music can be a fun and inspiring approach to language learning is main advantage. A person's ability to listen and express themselves verbally can be developed through musical experience. In the article, the possibilities of using music as a tool in the process of teaching English were analyzed.
