Sequence of Measures Taken by Facility Forces According to Operating
Modes in the Event of an Emergency at Oil Refineries
Abstract
Accidents occurring in oil refineries, along with environmental consequences, pose a serious threat to human life and the production process. Ensuring safety in oil refineries and minimizing accident risks is one of the main tasks facing modern industry. For this purpose, the effective operation of facility forces in oil refineries, reducing accident risks and ensuring the safety of the production process are of great importance. The article shows the sequence of measures taken by the facility forces within the framework of their operational regimes when an emergency situation arises at oil refineries. The importance of the civil defense system at potentially dangerous facilities, the level of preparedness for emergencies, and the security mechanisms applied at oil refineries were analyzed. The role of the Emergency Commission in ensuring the coordination of the facility's civil defense forces in managing emergencies was especially emphasized.
