Some Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Information and
Communication Technologies
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) field, leading to unprecedented advances in efficiency, innovation, and operational capabilities. This article explores the multifaceted applications of AI in the ICT sector, focusing on its key role in network management and optimization, cybersecurity, software development, IT operations, and telecommunications. By analyzing current trends, real-world examples, and key technological changes, this study highlights that AI is not just an incremental improvement, but a fundamental transformation. It also examines key challenges and ethical issues surrounding the implementation of AI, including job losses, data privacy, and the need for robust governance frameworks.
