Adaptation of HR Management Strategy to New Conditions
in the Tourism Sector
Abstract
This article analyzes how human resource management strategies that meet the requirements of the modern era are being adapted in the tourism sector. The COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization and changes in the labor market have necessitated a rethinking of HR policies. Traditional approaches are giving way to people-centered strategies that take into account flexible work modes, technological skills development and psychological well-being.
This transformation is taking place in the tourism sector of Azerbaijan at different levels. The qualification level and adaptability of personnel are being increased through state strategies, regional training programs and international cooperation. Competency-based selection, continuous training and socially responsible approaches play an important role in HR management.
The article emphasizes the importance of human capital development in tourism, based on both local and international experience. As a result, the competitiveness of tourism enterprises is closely related to the knowledge and skills of employees, their well-being and adaptation to technology.
