Application of The Gallery Work Method in Military
Educational Institutions
Abstract
The purpose of this scientific article is to examine, in the context of military educational institutions, the advantages and potential challenges associated with the use of this method. One of the modern methods applied in education is the Gallery Work method. Recently, the Gallery Work method, widely used in education, has also been implemented in military educational institutions, having a significant impact on the development of learners’ analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
A question arises here: what is the essence and significance of the Gallery Work method?
Special types of educational institutions organize the education they provide by focusing on a particular field. One such institution is a military higher school that provides military education. Generally, it can be said that the main goal of military educational institutions is to train military personnel and officer staff for the army who can be professional in their work.
In such educational institutions, cadets are not limited to theoretical knowledge; they also acquire practical and tactical skills. Thus, among those who study here, patriotism and national–spiritual values are cultivated. In accordance with the demands of the time, the teaching process is organized by means of modern technologies and is supported by military scientific research aimed at improving the quality of education. Additionally, in military educational institutions, the purpose of education is not only the teaching of theoretical knowledge but also the development and enhancement of learners’ practical skills and their adaptation to combat conditions. Therefore, cooperative and interactive methods are used throughout the training and teaching process.
