Application of Virtual Reality Technologies in the Educational Process

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to investigate the possibilities of applying virtual reality (VR) technologies in the educational process, their impact on learning outcomes, and their pedagogical advantages. The study reviewed the development trends of technological innovations in the field of education and applied an analytical approach based on existing scientific sources. The analyses show that virtual reality technologies increase the motivation of pupils and students toward the learning process, enable the visual and interactive mastery of difficult-to-understand topics, and strengthen the learning model based on experience. The use of VR tools, especially in medicine, engineering, natural sciences, and technical disciplines, has had a significant positive impact on the quality of education. At the same time, problems such as technical and financial limitations and the insufficient development of teachers' skills in using VR tools are also observed. Consequently, for the successful integration of VR technologies into the educational process, it is necessary to improve pedagogical approaches, increase the digital skills of teachers, and enhance technical support in educational institutions.
