Archaic Elements in Dialects and Dialects of the Azerbaijani Language

Abstract

When studying the topic of archaic elements in Azerbaijani dialects and dialects, it is necessary to consider several issues: the contrast between dialect and literary language; the obsolescence and archaicization of language units; the use of units that have become archaic in the literary language in separate dialects and dialects of the language. We considered it appropriate to analyze these issues in our study. It should be noted that since the dialects and accents of the Azerbaijani language are very rich in lexical and grammatical terms, we did not include all the dialects and accents of our language in our study, but only the Western Azerbaijani dialects.

Archaisms in Western Azerbaijani dialects are valuable as a linguistic fact, and are also of exceptional importance in terms of studying the history of the Azerbaijani people. The study of folk language and dialects has been one of the most important issues in linguistics, and there are still a number of problems in this field that await their solution.
