Comparative Analysis of Programs Used to Analyze the Quality of Domestic and Industrial Water
Abstract
This article explains the importance of water for life and industry, the necessity of analyzing and managing its quality. Important physical, chemical and microbiological indicators for domestic and production waters are presented. Software solutions that determine water quality – laboratory analysis systems, data management and simulation programs – are analyzed comparatively. At the same time, modern management systems such as AzersuGIS, MIS and SCADA, implemented by “Azersu” OJSC and Melioration and Water Economy OJSC in Azerbaijan, are shown as examples. The article emphasizes the importance of efficient, transparent and technological management of water resources.
