Evaluation of Innovative Lesson Planning Models in English Language Teaching

Abstract. This study examines innovative lesson planning models in English language teaching and evaluates their effectiveness in developing learners’ communicative competence. A qualitative review of current pedagogical literature was conducted to identify the principles of learner-centred lesson planning, task-based instruction, technology integration, and formative assessment. The findings indicate that innovative lesson planning improves learner engagement, collaboration, critical thinking, and language performance. The study concludes that flexible lesson plans integrating authentic materials and digital resources better address the needs of modern language learners.
