Interactive Teaching Methods in Primary School: Impact on Student Motivation and Development of Their Cognitive Abilities

Abstract

The topic “Interactive teaching methods in primary school: Impact on student motivation and development of their cognitive abilities” examines the importance of using interactive technologies in the educational process in primary grades. In recent years, traditional teaching methods have gradually given way to more modern, active approaches that include various interactive tools: games, multimedia technologies, group projects, active interaction between students and teachers. These methods not only increase students' motivation, but also develop cognitive skills such as analytical thinking, creativity and teamwork.

Interactive methods allow students to independently master the material, actively participate in the learning process and better understand the topics being studied. This creates a positive learning atmosphere and stimulates interest in learning. A positive effect on student motivation is that they are more involved and interested in learning, which helps to improve academic performance. In addition, the use of interactive methods develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills in children as they actively seek answers to questions, process information, and apply knowledge to different situations. This has a positive impact on their overall educational process and prepares them for further education.
