Lexical Meaning of Some Auxiliary Parts of Speech, Their Role in Word Formation and Syntactic Aspects
Abstract
Speech culture is generally considered one of the main components of spiritual culture. From the time of independence to the present day, the formation of our language, speech culture and the formation of our youth have been put forward as a key issue for comprehensive development. Today, the Azerbaijani language is the official language of our state and a broad means of communication. In order for our speech to be flawlessly fluent, it is important to master all the subtleties of this language. The Azerbaijani language has its own stable grammatical structure, rich vocabulary and expression reserve, harmonious, elegant sounding. The lexical composition of the Azerbaijani language is divided into several groups according to its lexical-grammatical, morphological and syntactic characteristics - parts of speech: nouns, verbs and auxiliary parts of speech. In the Azerbaijani language, parts of speech include nouns, adjectives, numerals, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, conjunctions, prepositions and modal words. Words expressing lexical meaning have grammatical meaning and carry a syntactic function within a sentence. In order for a word included in our dictionary to be a part of speech, it must have a certain grammatical meaning in addition to its lexical meaning. As we mentioned above, auxiliary parts of speech include conjunctions, adverbs, connecting and modal words and interjections. Unlike the main parts of speech, auxiliary parts of speech cannot have a lexical meaning, cannot be used separately as a sentence member and do not answer an independent question. The study of the richness of the Azerbaijani language shows that in our speech one word is expressed in several meanings. This is manifested in the auxiliary parts of speech as well as in the main parts of speech.
