Abstract
In modern times, as a result of the negative impact of various natural and anthropogenic factors, the vegetation of our planet has been subjected to quite serious threats and has been degraded in large areas, a large number of plant species have completely disappeared from the face of the Earth, and tens of thousands of species are at risk of extinction. We must protect the vegetation because folk medicine is mainly based on natural remedies and methods of treating diseases of the human population with plants. Treatment with medicinal plants has become widespread in Azerbaijan, along with developed countries. Medicinal plants are very useful plants for humans with various molecules and vitamins in their composition. It is known that medicinal plants have a good effect on many diseases. It is known that they have the ability to relieve pain from sciatica, joint pain, muscle pain, back, head, ear, toothache, bruises, cuts, sprains, menstrual pain, and insect bites. Therapeutic importance of plants. Saffron is widely used in diseases of the cardiovascular, nervous, excretory and reproductive systems. Pumpkin seeds are used against worm diseases, and in the treatment of diabetes, heart, and kidney diseases.
