Methods of Teaching Locative-Grammatical Cases of Nouns in Grades V-IX of General Secondary Schools (Based on I.Efendiyev’s Novel (“The Willow Ditch”- “Söyüdlü arx”)
Abstract
One of the main indicators of a developing education system is modern teaching and its practical applications. The main goal of this approach, which encourages students to think independently, is to create conditions that makes the learning process smoother through the use of appropriate methods and techniques. In this context, we focused on various aspects of active learning, such as group work, insider and interdisciplinary integration, proper motivation strategies and accurate student assessment.
One of the key points was the correct application of acquired knowledge by the students. For instance, examples taken from the novel “Söyüdlü arx” and selected by the students themselves had a positive impact on the lesson process and facilitated comprehension. Students also learned about the different types of the case category, their usage in different contexts and most importantly, their connection with attachment, leading to the emergence of new shades of meaning.
