Modern Studies on Muhammad Jazari's Creativity
Abstract
This study focuses on the history of modern approaches to the study Muhammad Jazari's works, particularly his “Al-Muqaddima al-Jazariya”, as well as the commentaries written by various scholars over the centuries. Ibn Jazari is the founder of one of the most important works in this field and played a significant role in the development of tajwid science. Modern research emphasizes the importance of analyzing the phonetic, grammatical, and theoretical aspects of tajwid, revealing their significance for the proper reading and understanding of the Quran. The influence of these studies on the spread of knowledge in regions such as Anatolia, Egypt and Syria is also discussed, with the aim of conducting an in-depth historical analytical study of different schools of tajwid and their interactions.
