Modern Tasks of Aerospace Monitoring of Natural and Man-Made Hazards
Abstract
The article is devoted to modern tasks of aerospace monitoring of natural and man-made hazards. The technologies used for monitoring the environmental situation using satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as their role in preventing and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters and man-made accidents are considered. The article analyzes the main methods of remote sensing of the Earth, including optical-electronic and radar systems, as well as their application to assess the state of the atmosphere, water resources, forest and agricultural ecosystems. Particular attention is paid to the use of aerospace monitoring data for predicting and minimizing the consequences of environmental disasters, such as fires, floods, earthquakes and man-made accidents. The importance of integrating satellite data with other sources of information is emphasized to ensure an integrated approach to managing natural and man-made risks.
