New Trends in Career Planning in the Era of Digital Skills
Abstract
The rapid development of digitalization and artificial intelligence in the modern era has completely transformed the structure of the labor market, the concept of career, and the mechanisms of human resource management. Career planning is no longer limited to choosing a profession; it has evolved into a multifaceted process aimed at developing an individual’s digital skills, adaptive learning abilities, and emotional stability. As a result of automation and the implementation of artificial intelligence, many traditional professions are disappearing, while new specialties that require digital competencies are emerging. The modern labor market now demands not only technical knowledge but also a combination of adaptive learning, emotional intelligence, and social skills. Career planning has moved away from the concept of a “once-chosen, lifelong profession” and has become an individualized, flexible, and continuously developing process. The emergence of new professions, automation, and the application of artificial intelligence requires new approaches to career planning. In the era of digital skills, the emergence of new specialties, new competencies, and the use of artificial intelligence have already changed the direction of career planning. Under conditions of automation and artificial intelligence, individuals must be flexible, open to learning, and technologically literate.
