Problematic Situation and Educational Problem: Methods and Conditions
for their Implementation
Abstract
Problematic situation and educational problem are methodological concepts of problem-based learning, which represent the interaction and interaction of two types of activity: teacher and student. The teacher creates a system of problem situations and manages the active search activity of students. Students are active in performing mental actions: perceiving problem situations, analyzing them, formulating tasks and ways to solve them when putting forward proposals, hypotheses, reasoning, evidence, as well as checking the correctness of results and solutions. The given characteristic of pedagogical activity “covers the main type of activity of the student in problem-based learning – search, therefore it is classified as a search method of teaching.”
