Properties and Importance of the White Mulberry Plant
(Morus Alba)
Abstract
The mulberry plant is unparalleled in terms of the uses of its above-ground parts. This plant is widely used in folk medicine as a food and for the production of natural silk.
Research was conducted on local mulberry varieties collected at the experimental base and laboratory conditions of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.
Phenological observations were conducted on these forms and polyploid mulberry varieties and their biological characteristics were studied. Many fruiting, forage, varieties, and forms of mulberry plants belonging to many interspecific hybrids have been studied. The sizes of mulberry varieties and shapes and the study of sugar were studied.
