Abstract
The article examines the importance of social factors in the formation of the culture of native speech in society. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the reasons for the low culture of speech in the field of education and science. Modern linguists justify the need for its protection by the pedagogical community and the state. Language, as the main means of communication between people, a means of understanding the world in all spheres of human activity, is always sensitive to the moral, intellectual, material and other requirements of society. Everything that happens in the life of society is inevitably reflected in the language, including the scientific worldview of the era. Any ethnic language cannot exist separately without interaction with other languages. The interaction of languages, their influence on each other in different historical periods can strengthen or weaken, the forms of contact and the composition of the languages in contact can change. However, the main factors determining the direction of development of these processes always remain political, socio-economic, scientific-technical, socio-cultural and other conditions for the development of a specific language community.
