Symbol of Victory: The Strategic and Symbolic Significance of Shusha
Abstract
The liberation of the city of Shusha was a decisive event in the Second Garabagh War and a symbol of the restoration of historical justice. Due to its strategic location, Shusha played a key role in changing the course of military operations. Moreover, Shusha holds immense cultural and spiritual significance for the Azerbaijani people. The reclaiming of this city marked not only a military victory, but also the revival of national consciousness and cultural identity.
