The Importance of Teaching Physics in Secondary Schools and Issues of Environmental Education
Abstract
This article examines the importance of teaching physics in general education schools. Physics not only explains natural phenomena but also helps develop students’ analytical thinking, research skills, and technological literacy. The article discusses the relationship between physics and environmental education, the impact of physical laws on ecological processes, and efficient use of energy resources. The roles of mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and atomic physics in addressing ecological problems are highlighted. Modern teaching methods, digital laboratories, simulations, and STEAM approaches are also emphasized to enhance students’ environmental awareness and foster responsible future generations.
