Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Instilling Knowledge, Skills and Habits About Syntax

Abstract

Syntax (as well as morphology) differs from lexis and phraseology in its stylistic accuracy and serious functionality. Thus, various syntactic units and syntactic figures are painted in a stylistic color in the speech sphere, in the poetic environment, word combinations, sentence types, various constructions are subjected to any process, are used for various purposes. Depending on the speech conditions, a number of syntactic phenomena occur in the language of literary works.

As in all fields, the 19th century opened a new era in linguistics, especially in the field of syntax. Many important and significant works were done in this area. But as we examine the research of the later period, we witness that shortcomings still remain.

The syntactic structure of our language was formed simultaneously with the formation of Azerbaijani Turkic oral speech and is in constant development - it has been gradually progressing through millennia, gradually becoming more fluent and improved. The development and complexity occurring in the syntactic structure is associated with the richness of the thinking of our people.

The main purpose of the article is to explain the ways of forming knowledge and skills in syntax, to explain the interpretation of modern linguistics and didactics concepts. Here, the specific goals and objectives of instilling knowledge, skills and habits in syntax, the requirements set in this area are once again clarified and deepened with some additions.
