Çağdaş uşaq ədəbiyyatının istedadlı nümayəndələrindən biri Zahid Xəlildir. O, uşaq ədəbiyyatının tarixinə şair, yazıçı və tədqiqatçı olaraq adını yazmışdır. Uğurlu yaradıcılıq yolu keçən sənətkarın yaradıcılığında bu istiqamətlərin hər birisi mövzu zənginliyi ilə maraq doğurur. Geniş ədəbi ictimaiyyət onu bir şair kimi tanıyır. Ədəbiyyata da poetik örnəkləri ilə gəlmişdir. Bir-birinin ardınca çıxan şeir kitabları onun yaradıcı istedadının nümunəsidir. Uşaqlar üçün yazdığı hekayələr də sənət örnəyi kimi mükəmməl təsəvvür formalaşdırır. Rəngarəng mövzularda yazdığı hekayələrlə o, uşaq dünyasını fəth etmişdir. Zahid Xəlil həm də uşaq ədəbiyyatının sistemli tədqiqatçılarından biri kimi tanınır.

Zahid Khalil and contemporary children's literature
Abstract
One of the talented representatives of contemporary children's literature is Zahid Khalil. He wrote his name in the history of children's literature as a poet, writer and researcher. Each of these directions in the work of an artist who has passed a successful creative path arouses interest with the richness of the subject. Wide literary community knows him as a poet. He came to literature with his poetic examples. The books of poems published one after the other are an example of his creative talent. The stories he wrote for children also form a perfect imagination as an example of art. He conquered the children's world with the stories he wrote on colorful subjects. Zahid Khalil is also known as one of the systematic researchers of children's literature.
