Azərbaycan Respublikasının məktəblərində müstəqil, yaradıcı düşünən, yüksək mədəniyyətə malik, milli mənəviyyatlı şəxsiyyətin-insanın tərbiyə edilməsi dövlət əhəmiyyətli məsələdir. Bu sahədə dövlətin siyasəti və bu siyasətin prinsipləri işlənib hazırlanmışdır.
Humanitar fənlərin tədrisinin səmərəliliyinin artırılması, təbii ki, öz növbəsində gənc nəslin təlim-tərbiyəsində mühüm əhəmiyyət daşıyır. Humanitar fənlərin tədrisi prosesində şagirdlər xalqın maddi və mənəvi dəyərlərinə yiyələnir, nəsillərin mənəviyyatı və əxlaqı tarixi ənənələr əsasında formalaşıb zənginləşir. Bu gün Azərbaycana vətənpərvər insanlar daha çox lazımdır. Belə şəxslər xalqın firavan, xoşbəxt yaşaması üçün əlindən gələni etməklə, lazım gələndə canlarından belə keçməyi bacarırlar. Deməli, vətənpərvərlik tərbiyəsini məhz günün tələbləri səviyyəsinə qaldırmaq vacib problemlərdən biridir. Gənc nəsildə vətənpərvərlik hissi bu və ya digər səviyyədə təşəkkül tapmışdır. Bu hissi daha da inkişaf etdirmək lazımdır.
Məqalədə XIX əsr Azərbaycan maarifçilərinin ədəbi irsində vətənpərvərlik mövzusunun tədrisi metodikası, üsul və yolları araşdırılaraq təhlilə cəlb edilir.

Teaching methodology of the subject of patriotism in the literary heritage of
19th century Azerbaijan educators
Abstract
Education of an independent, creative thinker, highly cultured, nationally-spiritual personality in the schools of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a matter of state importance. The state policy and the principles of this policy have been developed in this area.
Increasing the efficiency of the teaching of humanitarian subjects, of course, is of great importance in the education of the young generation. In the process of teaching humanitarian subjects, students acquire the material and moral values of the nation, the spirituality and morality of generations are formed and enriched based on historical traditions. Today, Azerbaijan needs more patriotic people. Such people do everything they can for the people to live prosperously and happily, even when necessary, they are able to give their lives. Therefore, it is one of the important problems to raise the education of patriotism to the level of today's requirements. The feeling of patriotism in the younger generation has been formed at one level or another. This feeling needs to be developed further.
In the article, the methodology, methods and ways of teaching the subject of patriotism in the literary heritage of the 19th century Azerbaijani intellectuals are investigated and analyzed.
