ADNAN MENDERES: HAKİMİYYƏTDƏN EDAM KÜRSÜSÜNƏ

Türkiyə Cümhuriyyəti uzun illər təkpartiyalı sistemlə idarə olunsa da, 1946-cı ildən artıq çoxpartiyalı sistemə keçmişdir. Bundan sonra 1950-ci il seçimlərində Demokrat Partiya səs çoxluğu ilə hakimiyyətə gəlir. Bu Türkiyə tarixində mühüm bir hadisə idi. Çünki ilk dəfə idi ki, Cümhuriyyət Xalq Partiyasından fərqli bir partiya dövləti idarə edəcəkdi. Demokrat Partiya 1960-cı ilədək hakimiyyətdə olduğu müddətdə xeyli islahat aparmış, ələlxüsus da kənd təsərrüfatının inkişafına xüsusi diqqət yetirmişdir. Lakin Demokrat Partiya 1954-cü ildən başlayan iqtisadi böhrandan ziyansız çıxa bilmədi və xalq narazılıqları hər gün artmağa başladı. Nəticədə 1960-cı il 27 May tarixində ölkədə hərbi çevriliş baş verdi. Demokrat Partiya rəhbərləri və üzvləri həbs edilərək Yassıadada məhkəməyə çıxarıldı. 15 nəfərə edam hökmü oxunsa da, onların 12-si ömürlük həbslə əvəzləndi. Adnan Menderes də daxil olmaqla 3 nəfər isə edam edilərək öldürüldü.

Adnan Menderes: from the authorities to the execution
Abstract
Although the Republic of Turkey was governed by a one-party system for many years, it switched to a multi-party system in 1946. After that, in the 1950 elections, the Democratic Party came to power with a majority of votes. This was an important event in the history of Turkey. Because it was the first time that a different party from the Republican People's Party would rule the state. The Democratic Party carried out many reforms while it was in power until 1960, paying particular attention to the development of agriculture. However, the Democratic Party could not get out of the economic crisis that began in 1954 unscathed, and public discontent began to grow every day. As a result, a military coup took place in the country on May 27, 1960. Leaders and members of the Democratic Party were arrested and brought to court in Yassiada. Although 15 people were sentenced to death, 12 of them were replaced by life imprisonment. 3 people, including Adnan Menderes, were executed and killed.
