Məqalə hüquqi tərcümənin özünəməxsus xüsusiyyətlərinin tədqiqinə həsr olunub. Son illər hüquqi tərcümənin aktual problemlərinin öyrənilməsinə həsr olunan tədqiqat işlərinin sayında ciddi artış nəzərə çarpır. Bu tədqiqatların demək olar ki, hamısında hüquq mətnlərinin tərcüməsi ilə məşğul olan tərcüməçinin hüquq sahəsi ilə də yaxından tanış olmasının vacibliyi vurğulanır. Çünki hüquq terminlərinin, klişelərinin uğurlu tərcüməsi üçün onların anlamlarını bilmək vacib şərtdir. Bundan başqa tərcüməçi ölkələrin hüquq sistemləri haqqında da məlumatlı olmalıdır. Bir başqa vacib şərt hüquqi tərcümədə emosional bitərəfliyin qorunması, doğru informasiya mənbələrinin seçilməsidir. Bununla yanaşı tərcüməçi hüquq mətnlərinin tərcümədə aparıcı üslub xüsusiyyətlərini də qorumağa çalışmalıdır.
Məqalədə yuxarıda qeyd olunan məsələlərin tədqiqi ilə bərabər hüquqi tərcümənin müxtəlif növlərinin geniş təhlili də öz əksini tapmışdır.

Theoretical and practical aspects of legal translation
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the unique features of legal translation. In recent years, a significant increase in the number of research works dedicated to the study of the actual problems of legal translation has been noticed. Almost all of these studies emphasize the importance of the translator who is engaged in the translation of legal texts to be familiar with the legal field.
Because for the successful translation of legal terms and clichés, it is important to know their meaning. In addition, the translator must be knowledgeable about the legal systems of the countries. Another important condition in legal translation is maintaining emotional neutrality and choosing the right sources of information. At the same time, the translator should try to preserve the leading stylistic features of the legal texts in the translation.
Along with the study of the above-mentioned issues, the article also includes a broad analysis of different types of legal translation.
