Artistic and Constructive Features of Garabagh Women's Clothing
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of artistic and constructive features of the Garabagh costume of the region of Azerbaijan. Samples of women's clothing of the XVIII - early XX centuries were used for the analysis. It is noted that in Garabagh women's clothing, constructive, constructive-decorative and decorative lines are distributed fairly evenly and exist in the costume almost simultaneously. The nature of the lines affects the figurative perception of the shape of clothing. There are various variations of lines: straight, wavy, convex, etc. It is emphasized that the constructive details of clothing that participated in the creation of national women's clothing also played a decorative role that determined the stylistic direction of clothing.
