Pedagogical Features of Teacher-Student Relationships
in Primary Education
Abstract
Teacher-student relationships in primary education constitute one of the key factors that play a significant role in the effective organization of the pedagogical process. These relationships are formed based on pedagogical communication, mutual respect, cooperation, and trust.
The teacher’s level of professionalism, pedagogical skills, and student-centered approach have a considerable impact on the development of students’ cognitive activities, the formation of their social relationships, and their overall personal growth. A primary school teacher must take into account students’ age and psychological characteristics during the learning process and create a developmental learning environment tailored to their individual abilities and interests. Effective pedagogical communication fosters students’ self-confidence and facilitates the development of independent thinking and creative skills. At the same time, the teacher’s use of innovative teaching methods and modern educational technologies enhances the quality of the educational process and increases students’ engagement in learning activities.
Thus, establishing teacher-student relationships in primary education on the principles of humanism and collaboration is of vital pedagogical importance for ensuring the comprehensive development of students and realizing their social and intellectual potential.
