Psycho-Physiological and Physiological Factors in Boxing:
Role, Analysis and Practical Importance
Abstract
In boxing, psycho-physiological factors affect performance. Psychological factors: motivation, focus, fear and stress management. Physiological factors: cardiovascular system, muscle strength and energy metabolism. Psycho-physiological integration ensures maximum performance of the athlete. The coach and athlete optimize performance with individual programs. Boxing requires both anaerobic and aerobic energy. Recovery and adaptation processes increase physical and psychological performance. Psychological preparation allows you to cope with stress and fear. Physiology increases the endurance of the athlete. The training program is adjusted according to individual characteristics. Psycho-physiological factors reduce the risk of injury. Focus and motivation play a critical role during the fight. The athlete monitors the body's response and ensures optimal performance. Social and psychological support affects the development of the athlete. Boxing is a platform for physical, psychological and social development.
