Strategies in Negotiation: Basic Approaches and Their Application
Abstract
This article is dedicated to review the main strategies used in negotiations. Negotiations are discussions held with the aim of creating mutual understanding between parties with different interests. Selecting the right strategies is crucial for achieving effective negotiations. This article will provide detailed information on the use of strategies such as collaboration, power, manipulation, vulnerability, compromise, and others. The application and outcomes of each strategy will be explained in detail, and various situations in which they are used will be analyzed. The article offers practical guidelines for selecting effective strategies in negotiations and provides recommendations on which approach would be most suitable based on the objective of the parties. Additionally, the article will analyze the strategic approaches used in negotiations in both business and personal relationships.
