The Challenges Encountered by Individuals Educated in Special

Education Institutions in Continuation Their Education

 

Abstract

 

Although the education of children with disabilities in Azerbaijan has improved in recent years, it still faces a number of serious challenges. This article analyzes key issues such as the lack of accessible physical environments, the limited implementation of inclusive education, insufficient teacher training, restricted access to vocational and higher education, and the shortage of social and psychological support services. Drawing on global best practices, the paper offers recommendations aimed at addressing these challenges and enhancing educational opportunities for children with disabilities.
