The Rural Community: From Psychological Characteristics to
Literary Aspects
Abstract
The rural society is linked to the history of humanity since its beginnings, as it relied on natural resources. Many scholars consider the rural society to be a prototype for urban societies. With the passage of time, urban planning and communication between communities have influenced rural customs and traditions, leading to significant changes in the social environment. This study aims to explore the psychological, cultural, and literary characteristics of rural society and examine the impact of urban development on the cultural system in rural areas. The findings suggest that urban development has contributed to shaping the cultural identity of rural society, where psychological and literary structures have become an integral part of this identity.
