Youth Employment: Problems and State Programs
Abstract
This article examines the current state of youth employment, the level of unemployment among young people, and the socio-economic factors influencing this issue. The study analyzes the main barriers preventing young people from successful integration into the labor market, including the mismatch between the education system and labor market requirements, lack of work experience, regional disparities, and the influence of social and family factors.
Special attention is paid to the role of the state in promoting youth employment through active labor market policies. The effectiveness of youth employment programs implemented in the Republic of Azerbaijan is evaluated based on statistical indicators and policy analysis. The research aims to identify existing challenges and propose evidence-based recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of employment policies and ensure sustainable youth employment, thereby contributing to long-term socio-economic development.
