The article discusses the main problems and prospects of investment development in the tourism industry. The main trends in the development of investment activities in the tourism industry are also described. It is important to know how investments are forecasted and planned, how the investment process is organized, where the investments are geographically directed, for what purposes and what the funds are invested, who the investor is, and who will implement the project.
