The article emphasizes that the modernization of education is associated with its anthropological humanization and the perception of man as a whole. Among the approaches of great scientific and practical importance in the modernization of the structure and modernization of the content of this system, a competent approach has a special place. Competences are a key factor in personal, instinctive and social development in the formation of a broad system of knowledge, skills and habits, a key indicator that allows to increase the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Taking into account the characteristics of the interactions between the various components of the competency approach model determines the effectiveness of the learning process.

Summarizing the research materials obtained from scientific sources, it is stated that one of the tasks of education is to make the development of a perfect personality the main goal of the educational process by expanding the application of a competent approach model in education.

Məqalədə vurğulanır ki, təhsilin modernləşdirilməsi onun antropoloji əsasda humanistləşdirilməsi və insanın bütöv bir varlıq kimi qəbul edilməsi ilə bağlıdır. Bu sisteminin strukturunun müasirləşdirilməsində və məzmununun modernləşdirilməsində böyük elmi və praktiki əhəmiyyət daşıyan yanaşmalar içərisində səriştəli yanaşma xüsusi yer tutur. Kompetensiyalar geniş bilik, bacarıq və vərdişlər sisteminin formalaşdırılmasında şəxsi, instinsional və ictimai inkişafın əsas amili, tədris-təlim prosesinin səmərəliliyinin yüksəldilməsinə imkan verən əsas göstərici hesab edilir.  Səriştəli yanaşma modelinin müxtəlif komponentləri  arasındakı qarşılıqlı əlaqələrin xarakterik xüsusiyyətlərinin nəzərə alınması tədris əməliyyatlatının səmərəliliyini müəyyən edir. 

İşdə elmi mənbələrdən əldə olunmuş tədqiqat materiallarına ümumiləşmə verilərək bildirilir ki, təhsildə səriştəli yanaşma modelinin tətbiqini genişləndirməklə,   kamil insanın-şəxsiyyətin yetişdiril­məsini tədris prosesinin əsas məqsədinə çevirmək təhsilin qarşısında duran vəzifələrdəndir.
