İnternet texnologiyalarına əsaslanan distant təhsil, teletəlim birgə əməkdaşlıq və qlobal şəbəkə birliyinə inteqrasiya da daxil olmaqla bir sıra yeni funksiyaları yerinə yetirir.

Distance learning in teaching
Abstract
Nowadays, traditional teaching methods are completed with new teaching methods which are based on the use of the Internet, electronic computer networks and telecommunications tools. Distance learning, e-learning is based on Internet technologies realizes some new functions, “distributed cooperation, integration, access the worldwide network community” principles are great importance.
The following ideas are reflected in the article:
1. National leader Heydar Aliyev's attitude to education and science; 2. Brief history, importance, forms and methods of distance education; 3. Negative and positive aspects of this type of education.
