İNGİLİS DİLİNDƏ KONSEPTUAL METAFORLAR

Məqalə ingilis dilində istifadə olunan konseptual metaforlara həsr olunmuşdur. Koqnitiv dilçilikdə konseptual metafor nəzəriyyəsi son zamanlar geniş şəkildə öyrənilir. Eyni zamanda, məqalədə qeyd edilir ki, metaforun tədqiqinin çox qədim tarixi vardır. Dil materiallarının təhlili onu göstərir ki, kommunikasiyada konseptual metaforların fərqli növlərindən istifadə olunur.

Metafor koqnitiv dilçiliyin digər anlayışları ilə qarşılıqlı əlaqədədir. Buna misal olaraq “konsept” termininin adını çəkmək olar. Müəllif metafor haqqında deyilən nəzəri fikirlərlə yanaşı ingilis dilli diskurs materialları əsasında konseptual metaforların nümunələrini də əsərdə təqdim etmişdir. Burada xüsusi diqqət tibbi anlam sahəsinə aid olan konseptual metaforlara yönəlmişdir.

Conceptual metaphors in English

Abstract

The article is devoted to conceptual metaphors used in English language. Nowadays, conceptual metaphor theory has been widely studied in cognitive linguistics. At the same time, the article notes that the study of metaphor has a very ancient history. Analysis of language materials shows that different types of conceptual metaphors are used in communication.

Metaphor interacts with other notions of cognitive linguistics. An example of this is the term "concept". Along with theoretical ideas about metaphor, the author also presented examples of conceptual metaphors based on English language discourse materials. Here, special attention is focused on conceptual metaphors related to the field of medical meaning.
