Introduction
Courts and tribunals are responsible for administering justice. According to the European Convention and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, everyone has the right to a fair trial.In the 20th century, there have been many war crimes and genocides in the history of the world. Due to the international nature of these crimes, one of the main goals of both national and international courts and tribunals is to prosecute and punish perpetrators. Crimes under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court are one of the most pressing issues facing the world today. One of the important issues is how to approach the violations that have taken place or are still going on, and how the International Criminal Court and tribunals compare with the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
