Məqalədə komplektləşdirmənin tərifi, onun əsas iş prinsipləri izah olunur. Həmçinin komplektləşdirmə işinin 4 mərhələdən ibarət olduğu göstərilərək, hər birinin izahı verilir. Arxiv profilinin təyin edilməsi və komplektləşdirmə mənbəyinin müəyyən edilməsi məsələləri keçmiş SSRİ və indiki Rusiya Federasiyasının arxiv işi prinsipləri ilə müqayisə olunur. Günümüzüdə sənədlərin dövlət arxivlərində hansı qaydalar əsasında komplektləşdirilməsi, bu işin təşkili və gedişatı izah olunur. Bundan əlavə arxivdə yerinə yetirilən əsas iş növlərinin vaxt və istehsal normalarından, həmçinin sənədlərin saxlanma müddətlərinin fərqliliyindən də bəhs edilir. Məqalədə arxiv işi sahəsində ölkəmizdə qəbul edilən hüquqi-normativ sənədlərdən və Milli Arxiv İdarəsinin nəşrlərindən istifadə olunub.

Compilation as a part of archiving work
Abstract
The article explains the definition of assembly, its main working principles. It is also shown that the assembling work consists of 4 stages, and each one is explained. The issues of determining the archival profile and determining the source of compilation are compared with the principles of archival work of the former USSR and the present Russian Federation. Nowadays, it is explained according to which rules the documents are assembled in the state archives, the organization and progress of this work. In addition, the time and production norms of the main types of work performed in the archive, as well as the differences in the storage periods of documents, are also mentioned. In the article, legal-normative documents accepted in our country in the field of archival work and publications of the National Archives Department were used.
