Application of Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Its Economic Benefits: A Comparative Analysis Based on the Experience of China and Singapore
Abstract
The article analyzes the main economic benefits and application models of artificial intelligence (AI) in industry based on a comparative study of China and Singapore. The aim of the research is to identify the opportunities created by AI in increasing productivity, optimizing costs, improving quality control, and enhancing management efficiency in industrial production. The study employs comparative analysis and analytical generalization methods.
The findings show that the Chinese model is primarily state-driven, large-scale, and based on rapid diffusion, whereas the Singaporean model is characterized by readiness assessment, phased implementation, and structured management. Although both models increase the economic efficiency of AI applications in industry, they achieve these results through different institutional and organizational mechanisms.
The study concludes that there is no single universal model for successful AI implementation in industry. As a solution, it proposes selecting a flexible and adaptive model tailored to the specific characteristics of the industrial system. In this context, the article introduces an “Adaptive Hybrid AI Integration Model,” combining the strengths of both China and Singapore approaches, and justifies its effectiveness.
