Effective Ways to Protect Mental Health in Adolescents
Abstract
Due to the high prevalence of mental health problems among children and adolescents, mental health issues such as risk and protective factors are of particular importance and are also of public health significance. Mental health issues play a crucial role in the prevention and treatment of diseases, in determining the etiological and diagnostic correlates of health, and in eliminating deviant behaviors.
This study presents an analysis of the frequency and distribution of potential risk and protective factors and their impact on the mental health of young people. Throughout history, hundreds of definitions of mental health have been proposed, and numerous studies have been conducted to determine its criteria.
Today, a comprehensive and accurate assessment of the factors affecting the mental health of children and adolescents helps to determine the most appropriate path to positive change, select optimal and effective intervention methods, and ensure the right approach by identifying the factors influencing the mental health of children and adolescents.
