Problems in Preschool Education in the 1990s
Abstract
"Education is an important area of society life and activity of every state, country. Society cannot develop without education.”
(Heydar Aliyev)
The state of the preschool education system in the first years of independence could not be considered satisfactory either from the point of view of the current level of economic development of the country, or from the perspective goals set in the social sphere, including in improving the well-being of the population. The reality is that for a long time there was no remarkable progress in the system of preschool education, no steps were taken aimed at solving problems that impede the development of this area. With the existing organizational, legal and economic mechanism*it was not yet able to fully ensure the effective functioning of preschool institutions in accordance with the new conditions and the principles of a market economy.
